CWB’s Ward Welch and his partner Paul Rice of Paul Rice Architecture are featured in Curbed with an article dedicated to their compact, but comfortable Amagansett getaway. The couple collaboratively re-designed the lot’s fishing shack, pool shed and garden into a considered home with a balanced spatial configuration that maximizes the simple necessities and joys of a retreat. Writer Mary Jo Bowling champions the architects’ crafted orchestration of the old with the new to culminate in a finished, yet relaxed feel. This small home’s charm and “rustic nature” attract friends and family all year long. To read the full article click here, and to view the project on our website click here.
