A CWB designed, gut renovated, five-story single family row house in Carroll Gardens is currently on the market. Completed in 2012, the home was updated to include an elevator, double height space on the garden level, and added bulk to the rear and roof. Brownstoner’s writer Cate Corcoran describes it perfectly; with an extra dose of “character and an element of surprise,” this row house showcases how specialized a house can become with the right level of imagination and ambition combined with a uniquely collaborative effort between the architect, client, and designer. We restored and re-fabricated some of the original flooring, millwork, doors and mirrors, and completely modernized the rest of the residence. This home is expansive and offers a vast array of amenities ranging from wood-burning fireplace and terrace to steam room and movie lounge. To read the full article and see the listing, click here.
