Upper East Side Post-War
PROJECT INFO
Nestled in the heart of the Upper East Side of Manhattan, this apartment program included a new kitchen, master bath, and a general re-organization of the closets and associated millwork. The interiors team then went to work designing a comfortable living space for this young couple expecting their first child. A custom upholstered floor-to-ceiling headboard was designed by Ward Welch to maximize space in a cozy master bedroom. Custom window treatments and a custom sofa were combined with existing pieces to work with the clients’ evolving lifestyle. New furnishings, accessories, rugs, art, and lighting were added to complete a contemporary and eclectic look.
