Prospect Heights Milk House
A young family purchased this historic carriage house in Prospect Heights. Before contracting with CWB Architects, they restored the masonry shell and replaced the windows but they still needed a program for the interior that meshed with their informal lifestyle. A light-filled eat-in kitchen provides a comfortable yet functional hub on the main floor, with accordion doors that open onto a cobblestone courtyard. The second floor features a large family room with an airy, loft-like feel, and a large fireplace.
