CWB-DESIGNED RENTAL APARTMENTS

07/16/2014

A new apartment is available for rent in Carroll Gardens. Designed by CWB, this brownstone is set to finish this fall. The building needed a complete gut renovation from the cellar to the roof and now accommodates a lower duplex with three 2-bedroom, 2-bath units above. One of the owner’s main priorities for the renovation was to include a solar energy system. We hope that this will become a standard on more and more of our projects. Stay tuned for more images of the final product.

UPDATE: CONNECTICUT WATERFRONT RENO

12/09/2013

Construction has wrapped on CWB’s renovation to an existing Connecticut home. The new addition and garage relate seamlessly to the existing structure, framing new waterfront views. The new brick work and timber-framed porches enhance the materiality of the house while describing its volumetric relationships as they extend from the rear facade to the front entry.
