The children’s rooms of our Tribeca Regency and Carroll Gardens Abode projects were recently featured in the “Well Styled Home” publication: Make it Organized 2014.  The custom millwork at the Tribeca apartment showcases how interior architecture can tailor a space to the needs of the user.  The structure allows the space to be more functional and organized.

UPDATE: CONNECTICUT WATERFRONT RENO

Construction has wrapped on CWB’s renovation to an existing Connecticut home. The new addition and garage relate seamlessly to the existing structure, framing new waterfront views. The new brick work and timber-framed porches enhance the materiality of the house while describing its volumetric relationships as they extend from the rear facade to the front entry. The updated programmatic elements will serve the residents long term needs and allow them to make the most of their space, both interior and exterior.

CWB recently received a unique client request: design a cat house for a feral cat colony by the Williamsburg waterfront.  The client was in the midst of renovating a house that they would soon be moving to.  The move would require leaving behind the cat colony they had been caring for and they wanted to ensure that the cats would still be able to receive food, clean water, and shelter in their absence.  CWB took on the challenge as a fun inner-office design competition.  Check out the entries below: The winning entry, by Jesse Fearins, was modified slightly and brought to life by Pilaster Inc.  The client’s residence, also constructed by Pilaster, will be ready for move in before Christmas this year.

In a recent “Off Duty” article, the Wall Street Journal highlighted the kitchen at the Cobble Hill Sanctuary project by CWB.  Almost all of the cabinetry in this project is custom and the kitchen is highlighted in the article as an excellent example of a 100% custom designed and built scheme.
